Robert M. Kaplan, a partner in the firm, devotes his practice to commercial litigation and is a recognized expert in the area of insurance coverage. Mr. Kaplan has conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials and has argued numerous appeals in Federal and State courts, not only in New York but in many other states as well.

Mr. Kaplan received his B.A. degree from Cornell University in 1977 and his J.D. degree from Columbia Law School in 1980.

Mr. Kaplan is admitted to practice in the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.

Mr. Kaplan is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and of the New York State Bar Association and its Appellate Practice Committee.
